but I was in the situation...I was traveling
had a white boy who heard the songs, I was playing and he wanted to trade ipods, so we could see what each other had...now I have A LOT of songs on my ipod and the white boy had only 10 songs on his iphone...so I said, f that, gimme my ipod back, you only got 10 songs...that was it...
now, the person seated next to me, was kinfolk who is raised under the appreciative (scarcasm) system of whiteness...so he yapping, semi-impressed with the white boy, and I tell him breh, that white boy aint got it, then the white boy try to act like, he really hip-hop, and from the old school. I had to check both of them. boy you a bum with only 10 songs on your iphone on a 4 hour trip. Then the kinfolk making easy to converse with boy and I said: you prolly the kind of person they can take advantage of because they might make you b on an a-b conversation. Now, when there is equity (a-a convo), were one really knows more, then there gotta be problem. But, on the flip side, they will just make it work.
It really the system. Most folk who in hip-hop are down to earth, though its the exception, unless you work/live hip-hop everyday.
See a lot of kinfolk, just nice around yall...I really dont give a fukk about yall...and I am not at liberty to go in on the sucking and jiving, first in, last out, being held back and you just agreeing type folk, when cracker get together and agree on something all because they crackers, and you held back simp, fight amongst yall self for scraps...and you been held back from the system? and now you easily agreeing? talking a bunch of crap on songs, but falling face flat in meetings.
