It's not about hanging around the street, my family lives in the hood, it's all we got, I don't run from the hood, I'm good there and I ain't no thug neither, I'm educated and paid. The hood needs me. They need to see men like me boss up and come back, they need to see that you can accomplish anything, this is how communities are built. Not FLEEING to nicer suburbs and looking down on the hood as "hang around the street"...because white folks, hang out in their old hood EVERY weekend.
