Yes... Single mother's unintentionally buck break their sons early out of frustration with the struggle and they confuse fear with respect. That's why when they get older and no longer fear them, they start running wild.

My mom told me she failed me in certain aspects because there were certain things she could not teach me since i was a boy. and she believes she stiffed alot of my "alpha male attributes" by been overly protective.
kinda agreed with her when i sat back and thought about it
But then i think about all the nonsense i avoided because of the way she brought me up
some good and some bad sadly, at least she admitted
a lot single mom just dont have the tools to teach their sons the things only men know so, a lot nikkas got to go through tough patches to get certain bytch like tendencies out of their systems
