I'm just gonna post this here, dude is a monster on the keys, no VSTs or digital trickery needed, the ideas in his head....separates kids with played out trap styles vs grown men with authentic musical ability....

:mindblown: Body of work is huge and very diverse
:myman:"Me, Myself, and I" on the piano first, not pray and play like producers of today

:smugdraper:Smoking a cig and playing Grammy-Winning Hip Hop Pieces he wrote
:banderas:"You Got Me" with a Jazz swing to it
:win:He Ain't Never Left
:gurl:@ Drake being mentioned as a musician....

Reminds me of this Blackexcellence below:

To think guys like Mike-Will-Made-It, Travis Scott, and Illangelo are considered elite in today's music game while legends like Storch and Devante are forgotten is disheartening to say the least...

Scott's hiphop stuff is overly musical and lacks bounce..say what you want, but metro and london know how to make their shyt knock....something that scotty isnt known 4

Knowing how to make your shyt bounce is an art within itself...

His r&b stuff is cool, but i never liked his hip hop stuff...

If that bass/808s aint cooking, its really hard 4 me to like it..if we are talking hip hop

Scott Storch may be worse than Swizz Beatz.

How? Swizz is one-dimesional and his style hasn't changed since the late 90s.

Valid opinion, I don't see how Scott's music can be seen as overly musical, most times his chord structures follow the industry standard 4 bar loop. Do you mean the layering in the track? Hip Hop Songs like "You Got Me" are definitely considered all-time great pieces without being too flashy.

For those 808s, I just listen to anything Teddy Riley did back in the day....

Same shyt with 50. 50 can still make records but the industry blackballed him

Scott don't got no clout in the industry to make a comeback
