Do yall think Spotify app developers have favoritism towards ios over android?

I have an android and have the same problem those reddit posters have




There has been "updates" to the app since that reddit thread but the Spotify app developers simply don't care enough to fix it I pay for the premium version of Spotify too


When it was working properly Spotify is the GOAT app I ever used on a smartphone But when you have multiple playlists with 500+ songs each this issue is annoying AF



BTW Iphone users do not have this problem.

I use Spotify 90 percent on my iPhone, the other 10 percent on my pc. Both my wife and I experience a lot of the same buggy glitches on IOS, like slow loading when opening. Can’t speak to the android experience, but in general the Spotify experience has downgraded over the years. I’m just so used to it now I don’t want to switch from it. I spend a lot of time in the car, so that’s probably my main source of all music and podcasts, YouTube being next.

It’s easier to optimize on iOS than android and their multitude of operating skins in top of it. Blame manufacturers for not using Googles software

Sounds like you are describing the queue list view. Yeah, someone suggested that in one of those threads. The issue is with the queue is you can only scroll in one direction rather than both ways The queue is an alternative but the spotify app remembering your place in the playlist the regular way was more convenient
