So I was watching Belly the other night (along with the shytty sequel which I wish I could slap the fukk out of Game with a wet tree branch for making such a movie), Nas was so adamant about going to Africa with TBoz.

Do yall really think he ever came back from such a visit or had a commitment to being knowledge of self ala "Peace God" shyt?

Because I remember a time when black folks wanted to go back, but it became just all talk and in other cases "Passport bro" babble. Honestly, the only dude that I can think of that was legit bout doing such things is my human from another species...

The terrible Belly sequel had no connection to the first film, unless I missed something written in the script.

Yeah, the second movie was wombat turds. Just all around terrible. The first movie had some sort of legs due to the production value that sadly went above budget, and DMX showed off his acting chops in the movie.

It meant well in the case of a hood flick that didn't felt like the typical hood flicks at the time, but more so a close to Criterion artsy type of flick.
