Growing up we always had one, but my parents never let us use it unless we were drying dishes and for storage. I remember I tried to turn it on once and my mother slapped my eyeballs out of my head.
It wasn't until I was a grown man that I first used one. My girlfriend had to show me how to use it. I was literally amazed.

Now it's my go to. I haven't handwashed a full set of dishes in years. It really is one of the GOAT appliances in the kitchen.

That slap was child abuse breh. We're you able to preserve the eyeballs? Did they work when you got them reinstalled?

Me? I love manually washing dishes. Feels like whenever I used the dishwasher, I always had to go back and clean em again. Plus, I’ll throw some music or a podcast on and clean that kitchen spotless. Dishes are cathartic for me

For the most part, yeah. Growing up, we always had to wash the dishes by hand. When I moved out, I used the dishwasher. If it's like one or two plates, I'll wash by hand, though.
