Suspected Cop Killer Surrenders, Says He's 'Not a Coward'

This comment:

" 'You gunned down, you murdered a police officer, for less than 2 grams of marijuana. You literally destroyed a family.'

That argument swings both ways. I deplore the shooting of the officer, but for less than 2 grams of marijuana, that officer wasn't going to just let it go, either. Having said that, you can't just go around shooting cops because they want to arrest you for breaking the law. If it went down as reported, I'd say the death penalty is warranted.
The officer, and eventually, the killer, are both casualties of the War on Drugs."

The one I posted, coloured in red...

:leostare:

From the article it says the cop approached him because he was illegally parked. Police harass taxpayers and have turned into state revenue generating agents instead of "protect and serve" or whatever bs mantra they generally push.
The blame lies solely on politicians and the legal systems they create. Stupid policies have stupid consequences. The cops f'd with the wrong guy over something stupid and this was the result. I feel bad for everybody involved but this is what happens when you continually push people too far.

They said they felt the death penalty was warranted, well so did the guy who shot him. :myman::umad:

The only unfortunate thing about this is that he is gonna get the death penalty or life without the possibility of parole. :mjcry:

Apparently cop's lives matter than the average citizen, because when someone kills a cop those are the only two results.

This is exactly what they signed up for when becoming a cop, they know the risks but the "justice" systems gets mad when it happens. :stopitslime:

Yes and no, which is very typical of internet comments. Sprinkle little half truths amongst bullshyt and you'll get praise for it.

Cops and animal lives matter more than the average citizens ever will. Let this dude kill a K-9...
