I think people should have forced an apology AND retraction from Rachel Dolezal. Any convo about transracialism stems from her antics.

You have to call out behavior and comments whether the person is on your "side" politically or not.

When you say you identify as black what does that mean? you like dressing black? Talking black?, black people come in all cultures and flavors.

If this was the case, anybody who was adopted would essentially be the race of their adopted parents since they grew up immersed in and identify with the culture of their parents.

This is the same problem with transgenders. Male and female are more than social norms and aesthetics. Even moreso than race, given that race is on shaky genetic ground.
