I believe that anything is possible. Reincarnation makes sense, otherwise there'd be no idea of having an "old soul". Also, people are born and things have been set into place, now all there is to do is follow the right string on the web of your life.
We are given traits by our parents, but we are given souls from others, which play a part on our spiritual presence.

True. I think it's real. When I think about death, what really bothers me about it is the pain that is possibly involved but not ceasing to exist. I have quite a few memories from my infant life of past events that I couldn't have possibly experienced.

I read that thread you made the other day and it kind of lead me to making this thread. I had an similar experience of a trapped feeling, except when I was aware of my own conciousness, I felt like I was trying to escape my own body and passed out for idk how long, but I was aware I was out... all I could see was white and like some shimmering flickers of light even brighter than that. Thought I was almost dead.

Were you meditating? When I would meditate faithfully, which I must start doing again I would get this sensation from my feet to my head and my mind would explode with an intense rush and light would also come.

I can get a feel of being outside my body when I meditate but it feels like my vision is shaking with my eyes closed. It's like there are different ways to experience being concious. I have had times past when I've blacked out and time runs at an accelerated rate, or atleast that's what if felt like. Not blacked out like being drunk though, sober minded.

How it's determined or who decides can be a big talking point. I think most people who do chose not to believe it maybe think so because of that. Also because there is a hurdle scientists cannot seem to overcome in defining what a human personality is made of beyond what controls what in the brain and external stimulation.
Have you ever heard of traits in familys skipping every generation or something similar? What if that is a sign of a past family member being reincarnated into a new body?
