I think the bible is more fantastical than, the lord of the rings at times. Greatest mythology of all time. Not even tales about Thor and Odin measure up to some the feats displayed in there. History that actually happens often repeats itself though. So if anything in there is true somebody will eventually catch footage of it on their smart phone.

the main reason it is head and shoulder above the other texts is because it is a "fertile" text. It in a literal sense impregnates the other stories
