You got people killing people and people sexually molesting kids, we know for a fact that is bad.

But what is good, can very on the person.

I agree that they are bad personally, but in different times and different cultures killing is not seen as bad (Vikings come to mind). Molesting kids is more extremely bad, but in some countries child brides are seen as normal (some middle eastern countries). Do I personally think those things are okay? No, I don’t think killing is good or molesting kids is good. But that’s from my perspective at this moment in time. If I was a Viking 1000 years ago, would I think differently? If I grew up in a fundamentally Islamic society where kids are married off at like age 10, would I think differently if I didn’t know better?

I think those questions are hard to answer. I don’t condone those things at all. I’m just saying that some people don’t see anything wrong with it.

I know that’s post modern as hell, and I see why a post modern perspective could be dangerous (post modernity brought us the current Trump “alternative” facts nonsense)
