My neighbor did this shyt to me the other day. I got trapped in a one sided 30 +minute conversation where they made their point 2 minutes into the convo the rest was them repeating the shyt and me standing in my driveway making eye contact every once in a while saying oh, okay,wow and thinking goddamn why did have come outside and sit in the car.

I was interviewing a Turkish guy and asked him a question and he answered it for over 5 minutes, and would have kept talking. I had to cut him off to get my next question in.

Needless to say I didn't recommend him for hire.

dude the other day was rambling on telling me stories about crazy drivers on the road and i'm just like "wow. that's crazy"

i'm just tryna get where i'm going breh. ain't no one tryna hear this shyt

but at the same time I was raised too polite to just cut ppl off and be rude like "I don't care" so I just tend to enterain their rambling with some nonchalance & unenthusiasm until they get the message

i ran into a situation like this at the gym but thecoli was against my stance.

Random people at the job or store, or some social setting I just nod and agree. If I’m paying somebody for their services, that’s different. I’ll just tell them I’m not interested and give them a tip if they oblige.
