Do you ever wonder how many people you meet have taken on a new identity, or are in the witness protection program?

Spinning from the Barry thread…

You know how in the movies and on tv people were hardened criminals, and had to run away from the law, or some rivals, or decided to leave a life of crime, and they change their name, and their appearance? Or maybe they are in the witness protection program.

Then, one day, somebody sees a random pic of them with a different name, and they start investigating. I figure a lot of women escaping an abusive lover do this, but I wonder about others.

Lot in Phoenix, Mafia guys from the 80's.

There's the Flores Twins, Damaso Lopez, Damaso Lopez Serrano, Vicente Zambada Niebla, Rey Zambada, who are all Sinaloa Cartel members who live in the US, somewhere, doing something.

People who get put in protective custody usually it's just an out of state or out of city relocation, and they almost always come back. To actually get in a witness protection program, you have to be high profile and valuable to the government.

Above the fray.
Not a chance. Cosa Nostra was based in this metro area and no way they sent any of them or any other person who turned witness in these parts.

They sent them to where Rico was. The illest in Nebraska. Is you bout it-bout it, fool?
