Depends on what you mean?

As a businessman, he was at their level at one point particularly around the late 2000's but that lawsuit with Ross's BM took him down a few notches. Nonetheless, he's still making some good moves business wise in different areas.

As an artist, 50 is better than Puffy but Jay's catalog is much stronger. GRODT is better than most Jay albums but Jay has more than one critically acclaimed album unlike 50.

As a rapper, he's way better than Puffy who's hardly a rapper to begin with but not close to Jay's level. 50 is more charismatic than he is lyrical.

Popularity wise? He's bigger than both of them overseas. America is debatable though. I think more Americans know 50 than Puff but Jay is more known than both cause of his connections with various business ventures, Beyonce, Kanye, and his sheer longevity as an artist who's been in the game since the late 80's and is still able to catch a buzz today.

So, in essence, it really depends on what you mean.

Worldwide since G Dep is crazy lmao

I mean musically…puff has his endorsements and shyt but unless I’m missing something I haven’t fw any of his music backings since G Dep.

I can’t stand bad boy tho…I obviously love BIG, Shyne was dope, G dep was dope, black Rob too. But all the rest (mase, Kim, loon, etc) was trash af

I barely associate LOX with bad boy.

Business wise, no. He’s more likable with fans and probably gets more listens but everything else he’s not on their level. I think at one point he was probably on their level but I’m not sure if his net worth took a hit with the older business deals that went away.

Neither of them were as big as he was at his peak. He had a video game made after him.

You nikkas really don’t remember 03-06??

2 video games  One of which, Blood on the Sand, was legitimately good. Beat it a few times. It's a really fun game. It even has classic 50 s*** talking you can do where you press a button like Tony Montana in the Scarface game. My niece even beat and loved the game. :blessed: That's the power of a (half) dollar. :wow:
