Do you feel bad for failed rappers who never made it or will make it?

Rapping is just one of my many talents breh. I do that shyt for the love of it, and the fact that I'm good at it and some nikkas like my music.

I never really tried to get signed, because I never had the amount of funds to truly invest in that endeavor. You need a full team of nikkas working behind your act to really get your shyt moving and I've always lacked that. That's life though.

I fukk with cats here that have the same passion and we make dope music together.
If that shyt were to blow up or gain some type of progress, I 'd welcome the success, but that's a long shot so it's. :manny:

I'd never shyt on another nikka's dream, because we all need something to make us wake up everyday, no matter how remote the possibility of it is in the grand scheme of things.
I respect that 100 breh

And you're so right

Resources are needed...Street team...investors etc

It's rough

Nope, not everyone 'makes it' (subjective). I admire them for taking action towards a dream.

Yeah

I feel like everyone thinks that's the only option and shyt smh

I guess it's the main place where we see ppl with our skin color and success tho

I feel you, but if these dudes do some simple math they can easily see that the odds of being successful in rap is pretty much the odds of playing a pro sport, if not worse. If there's 500 nikkas in your city rapping already and none of them got on, then what makes these dudes think they're any different when the majority all sound alike and have the same subject matter?

the only ones i felt bad for ever was Young Chris and Un Kasa. The former because jay-z jacked his entire rhyme style "put him on" to one song, and left him in the dust and his fans never picked up the pieces thereafter [because they weren't HIS fans, they were ROC fans], and the latter, Kasa, because it was like he was perpetually promised wolftickets by cam and elz, all the way to the SKULL GANG crew...and he is definitely better as a member of a group than a solo act.
chris has no personality and jay used his style for what maybe 3-4 songs

It takes money to be a rapper, all rappers who make it nowadays having somebody putting money behind them or they investing in theirselves

No, but it does piss me off that like 1 out of every 3 black male's life dream is to be a fukkin rapper. I don't even hold back the disgust on my face anymore when a nikka says he's a rapper
its the same for the whites now too. Every person who listens to rap wants to be a rapper now.

I want to be a renown producer not wanted but I know I need a talented grinder to produce. Most dudes don't have the infrastructure needed that are actually talented. We'll see. So, in the meantime, I am going to law school. :yeshrug:

Yeah. I hate watching people waste their intellect and potential on a lottery ticket. there are probably 1000 rappers the world knows, out of 40 million black Americans . Odds aren't in you favor. I personally know intelligent people who spent their twenties chasing that shyt with nothin to show for it.

There are so many other things to aspire to be other than an athlete / rapper/ entertainer. We need to change our definition of success imo.

If i have kids I wish they would come to me with some bullshyt about being an actress or rapper :childplease::camby:
