In the dating game, I hear a lot about women feeling frustrated and hurt because they meet men who essentially just use them for sex. These men wont want to spend time doing things together, they wont demonstrate commitment or anything like that. The women wait hoping the man will change and he doesnt and they feel hurt and like their time was wasted by this man, esp. If he keeps saying he just needs time.
Now let's look at a man that we consider a simp. He wants to spend a lot of time with his girl, he will spend as much money as he needs to to make her happy. When shes upset he does everything he can think of to make her happy. He generally puts her happiness above her own and doesnt expect maturity or growth out of her. In extreme cases if she cheats on him and gets pregnant by another man he will raise the baby not knowing and then when he finds out he forgives without much difficulty.
In both cases, both people are used by the member of the opposite sex. I would argue that the simp is most brutalized though. Hes not just used for sex as well--in fact in many cases he doesnt even get sex. His emotional, temporal, and economic resources are used up completely and in many cases he ends up getting ditched out of the blue similar to how the man who isnt serious disappears from the womans life.
If there are any reformed simps on here I really want to read y'alls stories. I want to know A.what creates a simp. B. What animates their actions and C. How they are reformed.
It's really sad to see how we as a society just accept that women have it hard in the dating game but dont talk about the psychological and financial havoc that can be wrecked on a man by women. Or the overall challenges all men face in the game. It seems like a one sided conversation, especially since the dominant narrative seems to be that women are mislead by men, whereas if a man is finessed by a woman it's totally his fault and he should just get roasted.
