I took a break from The E late last year to the Royal Rumble.

From following it religiously for 16 years prior to that, it felt longer than I thought.

Forgot that Wrestling ages in dog years :skip:

I wish i could Men In Black mind erase a lot of that period out of my head, but unfortunately it's stuck in there. For every good to great things that happened during that period (Smackdown 6, HBK resurrection, Kurt Angle in general, King Booker, etc), there's just soooooooo many bad things.

If not for rohtv on directv I would have never watched wrasslin ever again, actually.

I did not watch for at least four or five years and before the attitude era.
I did not watch after the weird wcw NWA confusion.
When they first brought in hogun and made flair a laughing stock for hogun, erroneously.

Imo, wwf and promotions before roh and ecw came along.
Tried to much to emulate rock roll wrasslin with hogun and insulted viewership it ruined building a consistent fan base for wrasslin.
Where the veiwership drops off because they have had their intelligence insulted past the point of no return.

My interest is decent with wrestling right now. Raw got nice little consistency streak going on as of lately with enjoyable raw shows and LU hasn't disappointed at all. I watch roh and njpw from time to time.

There were times throughout the years where it was a hassle to watch raw. Just recently I stopped watching tna until the there's a solid direction for the company. :yeshrug:

Even tho it's so much wrestling available to watch nowadays I don't think I necessarily get tired of watching wrestling. I think it moreso depends on the quality of a wrestling product for me.:ehh:

I get burned out watching WWE cause it can be repetitive. When that happens, I only come read Bleacher when I get to work on monday nights and scan the thread for fukkery and reactions.

I'll get bored and marathon NJPW or some old classic matches at the drop of a dime. Watch old Minami Toyota matches for 6 hours straight.

I watch LU weekly because it's ultra unpredictable, the matches are incredibly solid, announce team is on point and the machine runs on high octane fukkery.
