Do you guys prefer to use your devices (phone/tablet) with a casing or without one?

I just been purchase a samsung tab a9 tablet from my local tech store and they didnt have a casing available at the time of purchase so im stuck using it naked for now. It just feels weird to me because im used to always buying a casing with my devices..how you guys feel about it? Im not the type to carelessly drop my devices on the floor so i should be good

I got a homegirl named Sandra who ends up destroying her phones in less than a year. Shes does dumb stuff like charging her phone when its only down to 60%, sitting on the phone in her backpocket which is bad not only cause she's 240 pounds but because it also concentrates the heat between the butt cheek and the chair.

But, besides that she's never gotten a screen protector or case. It only cost an extra $30 bucks to do. I've only had 3 phones in the last 10 years. So that $100 i spent probably saved me $5000 on replacement phones compared to Sandra. Plus I still use the old phones as backups, one is a wifi phone, and the other I use as a dashcam in the car.

Preferably something with a kickstand or magnetic grip (pause) If we goin' tablet sized (Pause).
I only take devices out of the case when I'm on plush carpet or I'm giving it a clean.
