Clearly 88 and 94 have the classics and iconic albums but a lot of that comes with the time and longevity. 2015 still has yet to be tested on that. But as far as quality and quantity goes, this has been a PROLIFIC year and we're hardly halfway through the year. Based on the planned release dates, we are only going to get more great projects from Drake, Nas, and Kanye. Albums from up and comers like Flatbush Zombies, the Underachievers, some Pro Era guys, and Vince Staples.
That's where we at now. The hunger and competitiveness is gone. We need to do more. Lyricism has taken a back seat as far as impact.
