Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Man… these last few years I’ve had issues with my tailbone and it hurts my lower back if I sit too long. I don’t know if it related to when I was going deadlifts. But I was looking into maybe getting an adjustment and some of that shyt is  you gotta do what to possibly fix my tailbone??? :damn:

My left knee acts up sometimes...as well as my lower back. That's pretty much it, tho. I consider myself lucky

Lower back always at some level of discomfort. It fukked up on me late last yr and I couldn't walk for a few days.

And even when I could walk again, I was at varying degrees at being hunched over.

At my 2nd appointment, the doc was like, your back is looking much better, the last time you were here your Lower back looked like some pork rinds.

My back muscles were that tight...

And left knee pain. I wear a knee brace almost all the time. Some days I even wear one to sleep. Other days when I don't wear 1 to sleep, I wake up regretting it.

Pinched nerve in my left shoulder from bench press. Pretty much shut down me lifting weights for the last 7 years.

Had a Shoulder impingement for like 4-5 years

It was a pain in the ass when it came to strength training or hoopin…

I fukked up my shoulder, pretty sure it was pullups. Figured it'd go away, it didn't.

So what I've done is progressive overload. I started all the way from scratch.

Doing pushups 3 sets of 8 on the wall, then the stairs, then on my knees (n/h), then finally regular. I never Max out. That's where the lingering pain for days usually comes in, so I do 3 sets of 8 then I'm :hubie:. I can do more than 60, so every once and again, I'll do something like 30, 25, 20, 15, 10. And it doesn't hurt during or after. I've came a long way from thinking I'll never be able to do pushups or would need surgery.

Also with pullups. I used the band's and assisted my body up. Did 2, 2 then 1. Then 3, 3 and 2. Starting with double bands, then the single heaviest band all the way to the lightest band then no band.

I also incorporated bent over rows and over head presses and upright rows. Starting with a 3lb dumbbell. 3x8. And slowly add more weight.

The strength is there I just can't do explosive movements with it. I gotta do slow controlled reps. In December I hit a heavybag wrong and that pain came back full-fledged.

Gotta be careful out here.

Y’all nikkas got injured and never did the rehab or physical therapy and then blamed the doctors.

I can tell :unimpressed:

All of my injuries were fixed with physical therapy. Usually a stretching routine
