Every now and then I dream that I killed someone (that I forgot about) and the police just figured it out and will be knocking on my door any moment. Then I wake up and feel relieved.

Been dreaming about a toxic ex that I work with. That I definitely don't have feelings for at all. Broke about a year and a half ago. She hollers in my dreams and in person smh

I used to have them extremely commonly as a child, but I haven't had one since highschool.

Grew up around a lot of violence so nightmares/ night terrors used to be real frequent. Gang banging, police, been held hostage, been a victim of a hate crime ect.

I sleep light and don’t typically go for more than 2–3 hours at a time so I don’t dream as much but about once or twice a month I have a pretty bad episode.

Not so much anymore, but up until I was about 20, every few weeks I would have a dream where I’m getting chased down the block (same exact block every time) by an Indian (feather) riding on a horse and he shoots me in my back. Sometimes it’s a bow and arrow, sometimes it’s a gun. There is never any real conclusion…I just wake up.

I’ve had dreams where demons physically attacked me and mocked me, force me to relieve some unpleasant moments within my life or show me some events that I’ve always feared would happen to me, they even showed me scenarios where my loved ones were harmed.

I have two recurring themes. One is where I'm in a dangerous situation and I can't dial 911. It takes me multiple times to dial because I'm panicking and hitting the wrong buttons, forcing me to hang up and redial.

The other is where my teeth are so loose in my mouth that I can wiggle them free with my tongue. It's usually when I'm around a group of people when I realize they're loose.

I think they both have something to do with anxiety, the last time I Google'd it.

Unpleasantness in my dreams is just a slip of my lucidity happening. I allow the dream to flow on its own, and it can lead down paths good and bad. I take full control, and it remains within the parameters I desire. Unfortunately, maintaining that type of control over my dreams leaves me tired in the morning. It is like I never went to sleep, and just slipped from one awakened reality into another.

So when my lucidity slips, I get crazy crap like zombie apocalypses, alien invasions, hellscapes, etc. when the dream goes bad. Each seems to have their own history too, so once I am dropped into a dreamscape, I already remember my previous times there and what I need to do to resolve it if I have time. Worse come to worse, I can seek to recapture lucidity and resolve the problems in the dream quickly.

Not anymore. But when I decided to turn my life over to God, for the next month or so I would have dreams of either wild sexual stuff or people killing themselves and their spirits coming out of them

This rarely happens now, but I've had dreams of situations that later turned out to be real.

Haven't had any recurring dreams though.

Even my worst dreams aren't unpleasant. I've had some that I know would be disturbing to the average person. I dunno something wrong with me in that regard.

I used to dream I was kidnapped, and when I escaped, I was running in slow motion. I also dream I wake up from a late afternoon nap, and it’s dark, and none of the lights in the house work.
