I can do most of those things actually. Also, as odd as this sounds, I can't get lost in the woods. Seriously. I always have a general idea of where I am in relation to most landmarks. If there is a road, river, or anything notable, I seem to "know" where it is. I can even do that shyt in the dark. I can't explain it but it's awesome. :blessed:

If not y’all brehs better start learning how to

  • Hunt
  • Start a fire
  • Purify water
  • Setup camp and shelters
  • Make weapons
  • Heal wounds
  • Navigate using the sun and stars
  • Grow crops and food
These things may come in handy sooner rather than later
I have nothing beyond the ability to see what side of the sky the sun is on.

But I'm pretty confident I could intuite the rest of it. It's not that hard. If I can find water source and a plastic bag, I think I'll be fine.

And no, I wouldn't hunt. That's stupid. I'd be on that hunter gatherer life. Living on grubs and and berries. The fck I look like killing myself to find a deer when there are perfectly good grubs everywhere?:russ:

Might try my hand at knocking out a squirrel or bird with a rock though.... :patrice:

Yes, I believe I can still do these.

As a youngin' (Ages 9 to 14), I attended a "survivalist" camp in VT for those entire 6 summers.

Being an inner-city kid, I was forced to get outta of "comfort zone" and, as a result, learned so much.

Thankful to this day.

I believe it has contributed to me somewhat being handy around the house and landscaping our home's front and back yards during these "Covid Years.":wow:
