Basically saying chivalry is sexist, insisting to pay for drinks is sexist, etc. TBH unless it's an elderly person or a man I might not even have suggested to carry it in the first place. You never know how your offer will be perceived. She might've even have thought "fukk him for thinking I can't carry the TV myself"

How I was raised men don't let women do any type of hard manual labor or lifting.

My mom and sister will look at me crazy if I ask them to lift some heavy shyt.

Long story short- So my sister's beautician needed a TV and my sister offered to give my late dad's tv to her. When she arrived, I brought the TV outside and was about to carry it to her car. She stopped me and said "You don't have to do that. I can carry it.. So I was like

You fukked up. The first time a woman says that she is just trying to be polite. You should turn that down, then if she insists again you are in the clear to let her carry it.
