Do you know any black kid adopted by a white family?

Not personally but I've seen a few families come through my pharmacy regularly that have young adopted black kids. It's always strange to see older white folks with some random black kid hanging on them but I really don't know the details of those particular situations.

Never knew one personally but I knew of a kid from Africa (not sure which country) that attended my High school. Breh, looked a lot like Nathan Stewart-Jarett. Played basketball and the last I heard of him was in my senior year, he got a full scholarship to some university.

I don't know any IRL but this one white girl I follow on tumblr who has this sex toy/BDSM/fashion related blog's family has an adopted black kid in it.

Her blog is a cringeworthy and almost scust worthy combination of half-assed faux social media social justice worker activisim, piss poor white liberal guilt and fake concern for black people and little to no people of black people except as victims , and mostly pictures of white people having graphic sex and #ANTISLUTSHAMING white feminist championing LBGT trisexualness that could only come from San Diego, CA.

I'll admit, she posts good stuff, but that's person who I can seriously stare into their eyes and say without a pause "I don't respect you".

I just personally can't stand when white people pretend to care about black people and feel we should be grateful to them for acknowledging our existence as if that's some hard task.

Probably better there, than in those childrens homes to be honest. I have to look after former residents of those places, many get pimped out while they still live in them.

I know alot of Ethiopians who were adopted by white familys during the Ethiopian civil war and famine years , many became close to the Ethiopian migrant community when they grew up, tryna learn their roots. My friend actually was an adoptee. He doesnt know his own family or even tribe/ethnic group.

Most were orphans whose parents were either civilians who were killed by soldiers in the war in North Ethiopia/Eritrea or they starved to death during the 1983 genocide so they would have died if they stayed in Ethiopia/Eritrea. I applaud those selfless white families for taking them in and giving them a chance to love a good life free from the worries of poverty and warEthiopia is a fuked up place, our leaders have fukked us up, i hope they all burn in hell sMengistu Hailemariam
