Yes there was a dude who was friends with my uncle that literally just died. They said he had AIDS which he may have caught from his ex girlfriend
Then there was a supervisor that I had in the army who just died. He wasn’t my supervisor when he died so I never got the whole story.

When Covid popped off my job went to WFH. The rules about moving out of state were sketchy and not defined. I wanted to move back to PA to help out my parents and a white chick I worked with wanted to move to Colorado. Her boyfriend just got a great job opportunity there and he really wanted her to go with him and she was on board.
So we both went to HR inquiring about working from home out of state. At the time we did not know if this would be a temporary thing or not.
Well she called me at 9 at night excited. Said she just got a email from HR approving her to move out of state. I checked my email and saw the same approval. So we was both hype as hell. Then she told me the next day her bf is taking her sky diving. He apparently loves sky diving and was taking her for the first time
That sat on her Facebook I saw her tandem skydiving with her boyfriend. All was good. Just so happened we was both leaving Florida the same weekend. My last Friday in Florida my boss sent me a message. Said she died in her sleep. She was 30. Healthy. No kids. Just did not wake up. The day before she was leaving
A year later I saw her mom had posted a memorial on her Facebook. As I was looking at the messages I saw her ex boyfriend also posted a little message. In the small profile pic I saw him tandem jumping with a woman but could not make it out clearly. I clicked on his profile and he was tandem jumping with his new fiance.
