I feel like I be smothering my girl sometimes....basically, when we're both working...I text or email her a lot during the day.

I noticed my close friends only talks to his girl in the morning and then at night after work.

Is constant communication throughout the day too much?

1 year next month.

But we been off and on since 2009. Long story but never broke up due to cheating or anything serious. Just distance, we were teenagers, college distance etc.

Same here. She's a homebody.

I used to be out but I'm older now I don't really like going out as much and my friends are wife up.

I prefer to stay in or chill with her but we both need that breathing space.

It depends on the person- some people like to text all day. I'm sure if your girl had a problem with it she'd stop responding as quick to your msgs. Just my opinion though.

Yea I think all couples should give each other time and space. Sometimes we'll both go out and chill with our friends at the same time. You gotta give each other time to miss one another.

Yeah yall gotta get out and do something every so often, if you plan on being with her. Get ya patnas with wives and have a men's day, I dont mean a strip club or even club but more like a bar. I been with my wife for 10 years this November, and can guarantee had she or I been on that smothering shyt, we wouldn't made it. But again bruh its whatever's best for yalls relationship.
