Do you lose respect for men who date much younger women?

I'm talking about dudes who are 24-25 going to proms with 17 year olds or dudes who are in their 50s trying to scoop up 20 year olds.

It's always struck me as punching below ones weight and being predatory. I also lose respect for women who date men who are old enough to be their fathers or who are significantly (more than 5 years difference) in age.

It couldnt be me. I'm gonna be 30 this year and I just couldnt see me fukkin with a 20 or 21 year old, trying to commit to them.

25 dating a 17 year old is predatory imo. That aint right to me. 50 year old dating a women in their 20s is usually a transactional arrangement. I dont have a problem with it, but I think less of both of them.

Any dude over 19 dating a 17 year old is suspect. Now if she's 20-21 and dating a dude old enough to be her dad then I'm thinking it's a sugar daddy situation. If it's like a 10-15 year age difference where she's like 25 and he's 35-40 or something of that nature then I'm whatever.

A lot of younger women are attracted to older men for various reasons and older men are attracted to younger women for obvious reasons.

For dating no, not really unless its illegal.

Being too close in age is also a disaster and the reason western relationship fail. Aman has to be at least 10 years older than the woman for marriage to stand a chance. In some older traditional societies if that gap is narrowed, the uncles and parents wont sanction the marriage because the woman is considered older than the breh even if hes 6 years older than her.
The reason so many western marriages fail is due to the partners being too close in age. A woman ages and matures rapidly, this is a disaster.

It just all depends.

Now that I’m getting older, I’m starting to look at women that are younger than me. But, I’m finding that it’s not because they’re younger that I’m attracted to them. I just find out later how old they are, and then I’m like

“oh, wow, she’s almost 10 years younger than me”



I don’t ask a female’s age off hand so, it’s only usually after having formed some type of rapport with them that I see or learn how old they are

those older guys that specifically target younger women, though, are another story...

It all evens out a bit as everyone gets older, but if you solely do it because you

A) aren't mature to interact with women your own age

B) Aren't confident, and need the age/power dynamic as leverage

I don't really respect that. I can easily go out with someone 10 years younger, or 10 years older, or anywhere in between, but it's due to their qualities, and not specifically their age, or experience (lack thereof) level. Like I told my friend the other night, you don't look cool "running game" (for lack of a more precise term) on someone a decade plus younger than you, you look like a fool.
