Hockey is my least favorite of the major American sport but it's so much more compelling live. Basketball live only if the seats are righteous. Football on tv every day, all day. Nothing - for me - will ever be as perfect as an afternoon baseball game on a nice summer day.

TV

Going to a game is cool every now and then, but the ease and access of turning on the TV and watching from the comfort of your own home (especially during the winter time) while eating whatever you have in the kitchen is better.

It depends. Hockey for example is way better in person. But football in the cold is absolutely miserable.

Basketball/Football on TV

Baseball/Soccer/Hockey live is great

What's funny is football and basketball are more expensive but honestly offer a better experience on TV. But I might just be jaded as Raider and Laker games are so expensive

Baseball and basketball are the best live background watching sports when in person. Those are my go to’s for sporting event dates.

If I’m trying to concentrate, then TV the way to go. Playoff basketball is fun live for the atmosphere though

I’m not going to any in person basketball games this year anymore. $20 for a spirit and mix and $24.99 before tax for a cocktail :hhh: inflation is about to make me quit drinking
