Yes. Normally prefer laid back music, I can't relate to catching bodies and moving bricks.
I like it when they make relatable music yes, as it can probably touch you on a deeper level.

Yeah its nice if I can relate to the music, but it's not necessary. However, at the same time its cool to have music where you don't necessarily relate but the music helps you understand/imagine. For example, I can't relate to Eminem talking about white trailer trash lifestyle, or kool g rap talking about going on drug mob heists but it's nice (when executed properly) when they can take me to that place through their words. It can keep the music intriguing like watching a movie.
