I personally stand, and take off my hat I guess just out of habit. But I don't sing/mouth along, salute or put my hand over heart, or all that other stuff.

If they skipped it altogether, I wouldn't care.

I stand, but like OP said I'm not out there singing along with my hand over my heart. Song means not a thing to me and I know that the US of A doesn't give two fukks about my ass either. If they skipped it or never heard it again I wouldn't give two fukks.

I'll stand but I won't sing along, take my hat off or place my hand over my heart or anything like that. Sometimes I'll just stand up and check my phone. I've never in my life had this emotional attachment that some people have to the anthem or the flag

I do stand and put my hand over my heart. Am I patriotic? Yes.

America represents a lot of things.
There are some bad cops doing bad things, but that does not define America.
It's a land of opportunity and there is, right now, a black US president, black people in high positions in the corporate world, black people with high celebrity status in the arts and entertainment world, very successful black people in professional sports, black people in elected positions, and many black people who are doing better financially and/or educationally than white people. I'm Asian and there has never been an Asian US President and probably not going to be one for decades. That doesn't mean America is bad. I'm not making millions of dollars in one year in the NFL as a quarterback. I'm not even making one mill in a year or even close to it. Does that mean America has failed me and the Asian community? The answer is no.
There are a lot of freedom we have in the US that there aren't in other countries. And there are people who do not want to see it that way, but they don't choose to become an expatriot when they have that option.

I stand and take my hat off. I don't sing or any of that noise. I'm an immigrant so I pay my respect to the country that let me in. I don't care if you stand or not for the anthem but you should take your hat off during it. Its disrespectful to keep it on, IMO.
