I don't believe in invisible spook gods. I find that when you start moving in more intelligent circles you come across more people who don't put blind faith into things.

People who come with the intelligent design argument tend to not understand the science and the scale of the permutations it took for this current set of circumstances to take place. I advise peeps to read The Blind Watchmaker and Brief History of Time to get a better understanding of the science behind the random events over trilions of years

The truth is, nobody truly knows. Not even the most saved Christian that claims to have had discussions with "god" can truthfully tell you God exists. All Christians are walking on blind faith. Nobody has ever seen God.

What makes me believe there's a chance God exists is when I think of the complexity here on earth. Different minds that all think different, different races, different DNA and body cells, different faces, different animals, etc and a million other complex situations on earth makes you wonder. And then when you see that there are so many planets in the universe and the infinite size of space, it makes you think there has to be some superior being behind it.

The Abrahamic god - hell no.

The ethereal pantheistic type who doesn't do much - almost definitely no, but can't rule it out.

We need to realise the universe is huge almost infinite, there are more solar systems than grains of sand on the beaches on earth. To believe some dude with questionable moral compass created it, and cares about insignificant earth is a big fantasy.
