I think "fat shaming" is wrong but we've lost the ability to have real conversations in this country without being accused of discriminating against someone.

Obesity is a huge problem in this country and we need to have a real conversation about it that doesn't lead to being accused of "fat shaming".

We have constant reminders of how bad smoking cigarettes is to your health, so why can't we have the same reminders when it comes to a poor diet?

I watched a couple of episodes of that the other day and that chick is the embodiment of self-pity.. she literally tries to guilt her sister into not having gastric bypass surgery because her behind refuses to lose the weight necessary for her to qualify for it. It’s sad.

I’m not into fat shaming just because food can be an addiction and I also don’t care enough to criticize someone for how they look but she should be ashamed of herself for the way she acts towards other people and wanting sympathy for a position she put herself in.

I watch that show all the time and a lot of the people on there are the same way.

The doctor will tell them exactly what they need to be doing before they can undergo surgery and how much weight they need to lose on their own, then they go to weigh in and end up weighing more than they did since the first appointment.

A lot of their family members are enablers too.
