Do you think if the black community had more single fathers than mothers it would be better

Why you acting like im wrong the black community is full proof of what happens when you let women be the head of households. You know there are thousands of studies that prove im right but here is 2 of so many out there

I'm not acting like anything, it's just good form to post the actual studies following the statement "studies show".

after glancing over the first link it's quite apparent that you've misinterpreted with the study is saying which is not that a single father fairs better than a single mother but rather a child fairs better with a mother AND father present.

1. Poverty

– Children in father-absent homes are almost four times more likely to be poor. In 2011, 12 percent of children in married-couple families were living in poverty, compared to 44 percent of children in mother-only families.

2. Drug and Alcohol Abuse

– The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states, “Fatherless children are at a dramatically greater risk of drug and alcohol abuse.”

3. Physical and Emotional Health

– A study of 1,977 children age 3 and older living with a residential father or father figure found that children living with married biological parents had significantly fewer externalizing and internalizing behavioral problems than children living with at least one non-biological parent.

If I could do a social experiment I would make it so all black men would automatically be the parent/guardian.

We have seen how single mothers are when it comes to raising kids and the outcome is disastrous in the black community. Black women are far to submissve to white men and women.

And black men aren't?

@Matt504 I agree both mother and father is best and we dont have enough studies to see for sure how the effects of a child without a mother would turn out because its not as prevalent

I think read somewhere that the kids to an extent are better off with in this situation as opposed to being with the mother. It was saying something along the lines of fathers are more disciplinary and not so coddling as a mother would be but the issues that can arise should be obvious from just those 2 sentiments. In the end though, its best to have a both parents.

If the community had more single fathers it would be the same. Probably worse because. Because you'd have a bunch of mothers abandoning their children.

If theres a father in the picture he will not only show his son what a real man is(assuming he is real enough to take responsibility for his kids regardless of situation) he will also be that fatherly image and protect his daughter from non shyt nikkas. Too many thots running around with daddy issues that have meaningless sex with nonshyt nikkas to fill that missing piece. This meaningless sex leads to mistakes or "blessings in disguise". These broken families offsprings start the thot and nonshyt nikkas chain again . Less thots= More mother material women. More mother material women = more well rounded families. See where i'm going with this?
