Do you think it was possible for humans to co exist alongside dinosaurs

I mean yeah they were big ass monsters roaming the earth, but humans have managed to co exist and evolve alongside lots of other dangerous animals and easily dominated them. Would we have have been able to do the same with dinosaurs? Turn them into modern day lions, elephants, snakes and other harmful but wild animals who are no threat to humans? :patrice:

Yes but it would be extremely dangerous. Imagine if crocodiles were on 2 legs in the forest and were actively hunting you. You would be on alert all the time. Would have to have weapons and community to chase them off.

Nah the atmosphere that allowed dinosaurs to live, as well as the dinos themselves, would have been too much for humans to Handle
Wouldn't the atmosphere have made for larger humans? It probably would have been a 1:1 scale of how it was when we were hunting mammoths.

Humans would have had to live underground/in caves though, otherwise they wouldn't be able to enjoy and store food and they'd always be in migration paths

The "nocturnal bottleneck hypothesis" suggests that no, humans probably couldn't have evolved and co-existed alongside dinosaurs.

In another sense though, humans have evolved and existed alongside "dinosaurs" the whole time we've been around. It's just that birds aren't what we have in mind when we think of dinosaurs.

Jurassic world domination says so :mjlol:

instead of actually concentrating on that aspect they opt to instead put the gang on a island to find locust

I think making the whole movie about Dinos in society woulda been too much fukkery and would come off as a comedy

Since I don't know when modern humans emerged then it is hard to say, but humans do share an ecosystem with lions, tigers, bears, crocodiles, sharks, snakes and white people. So it was possible.

As an aside the blue whale is the largest animal to have ever lived and they are alive right now. Elephants also coexist with humans. Finally most dinosaurs were herbivores rather than carnivores so most were not flesh eaters.

The common ancestor of people and primates was some rat looking thing.

Of course we could have.

Until T Rex can fire a gun he's not fukcing with Humans. Of course one T Rex can attack and kill a few Humans, but people hunt wooly mammoth and shyt like that. We'd get T Rex too.
