Like do we think parents are not going to resent unwanted children?

You would like to think that the women and men who don’t want kids would now behave responsibly and start using protection since this would lead to the same result - no kids

I mean logic and the law of numbers makes it obvious.
Whether wanted or unwanted, the more kids there are, the more kids that are available to be abused, mistreated, and neglected.
Now you throw the "unwanted but forced to give birth to child" ingredient into the mixing bowl and you're bound to go from "logically obvious" to pretty much "guaranteed to occur."
