you think we'll eventually get to a point where dudes are like "maan, remember 2020-2021 times when we were all stuck inside watching netflix and making tik toks? those were the days" :mjlol:

tbh that's what I think when I hear folks get nostalgic for 2014-2019 pre-pandemic era which I thought were ass and i'll never fool myself in to being nostalgic for those times :manny: but I guess it's different if you were young in highschool/college and coming of age through those times

I feel like people already are. I went to a hookah spot in the early Springtime and the DJ played a whole ass quarantine mix of nothing but hits from Spring/Summer 2020. Seen many tweets of people nostalgic for lockdown. Literally millions of people were living better than ever during the lockdowns. Unemployment bennies and stimmy checks had folks living their best life. It wasn’t uncommon to see people dripped out in brand new head to toe Gucci, Balenciaga, Versace, Burberry etc. like the rappers. See brand new Hellcats and all types of luxury cars with paper tags driving like a$$holes. All that shyt has died down significantly.

And if you wanted to work, there were much better opportunities back then too. Gas prices were historically low, flights were cheap, people didn’t have to pay rent in hella places. The working class got to experience an upper middle class lifestyle for the first and only time in their lives. This is probably why a huge segment of population is homicidally angry right now.

If you literally lost all the drip and vehicles not even 2 years later then you a dummy and it wasn't meant to be.

This idea that upper middle class people ball out like crazy is for broke fools and that's why they reminiscing on money spent.

Rents deferred delayed were not meant to go unpaid. People abandoned responsibility and abused the situation.

Look at you talking about what's not even 2 years out like it's ancient. That's absurd. Fools stole money to give it away to reminisce on having money :dead:

Could have been started funds for business opportunities even school, very few people think like that though just give it away to sniff are a lifestyle you think others live. For anyone who is serious about changing their life you better have a plan before money. Otherwise you not escaping the bottom. Windfalls of cash won't change shyt.

I genuinely miss the lack of traffic on the roads in the am and evening. There was no such thing as 5 o'clock traffic. We live on the outskirts of the city and I was getting to the clinic in 10 minutes flat instead of the usual 35 - 40.
