you think we'll eventually get to a point where dudes are like "maan, remember 2020-2021 times when we were all stuck inside watching netflix and making tik toks? those were the days" :mjlol:

tbh that's what I think when I hear folks get nostalgic for 2014-2019 pre-pandemic era which I thought were ass and i'll never fool myself in to being nostalgic for those times :manny: but I guess it's different if you were young in highschool/college and coming of age through those times
I already miss how empty the city was. Driving the streets at 4pm felt like 3am on a Saturday. Whole city to myself.:wow:

Hotel deals were godly too:wow:

Felt like batman with my masks on. I Even customized them shts to have ironic messages and strobe lights.:wow:

Nah not only did it suck not being able to go anywhere and being quarantined for my 40th bday but i was in NYC the epicenter of it so the begining of this was scary as hell seemed like at one point the whole city was gonna drop dead from this sh1t.

Fastest 2 years ever it doesn’t seem that long ago.

Time moves really fast once you reach a certain age but it seems since the begining of the pandemic it’s moved really fast

But anything pre pandemics seems like it was 20 years ago

Introverts sure miss it I bet…

:jbhmm:

Damn right :ehh:

I was well set-up with little to no worries so selfishly I actually miss taht period, but I know it was tough and obviously fatal to a lot of people. But speaking just for myself it was a pretty nice period and I kind of got back on my feet at that moment. I had a pretty good routine, doing sport, reading, writing, watching movies/series obviously, actually reconnected with some people I hadn't heard from in years, etc.

I miss the money like I'm going through withdrawals. There were some things pre-pandemic that didn't need to come back. :unimpressed:

Also, the release of King's Disease felt like an event. But other than that, there's not much else to be nostalgic about. The pandemic is strange in that it caused a lot of damage at the time, and left a long-lasting negative impact that really started to explode last year. But at the same time, certain things happened that normally wouldn't, like the abundance of checks that people were getting. For the first time in a while, it actually felt like the world was slowed down. So, it's up to the individual as to whether or not they would look back on it positively.
