These potential charges are different than others; he can't say it's a witch hunt because they caught him red-handed with highly classified materials. Merrick Garland did it right by being quiet about it until they kicked in his door, before they could destroy evidence or further obstruct. His story keeps changing because there's no way to defend having nuclear weapons docs in your basement.
If Trump doesn't see the inside of a jail cell, the criminal justice system will be proven to be irrevocably broken.
Not that it isn't completely broken already (it definitely is), but it will prove that "no one is above the law" has never been true.

I'm keeping my expectations low so if he gets away again, I won't feel as disappointed. From 2017 to 2020, I kept my expectations low on the hope that Trump would not get reelected and of course I ended up being fairly surprised and pleased with the result in November of that year. Likewise, they tried passing pro-marijuana bill through TN earlier this year, and once again I kept my expectations low because we're in the Bible belt, and sadly, it didn't get very far before getting shot down. I wasn't as disappointed as a lot of people were. It works better that way.

I thought the feds don't pop up until the conviction is pretty much wrapped up for them but every year they come up with something yet dude continues to live his best life

I don’t see him going to jail but man look at these republican primaries his name is still ringing loud. It feels like his stranglehold on that party is getting stronger. Crazy to witness.
