I think these issues were always bubbling under the surface. It just really came to the forefront in the late 60's or the early 70's with more feminist ideology being promoted and early intersectionality.

Yeah the issues were always there I agree but it was post CRM they really came to the forefront. Not bc of government policy per se but increased independence and fracturing of movements. It would have happened anyway though given the momentum of history.

this is an age old argument of "we need to prioritize our Blackness over our gender". Increasing hostility against all Black people for their Blackness will not curb gender warring in my opinion, it may even increase it.

I don't see the gender shyt dying down online anytime soon because people are more socially isolated than ever before and it's far too profitable and marketable to jaded people in the dating market.

Gender issues will always be around as long as men and women (two genders!!) exist.

Black folks gender issues are just on steroids and won't be fixed until (yes I'm blaming the women) women come to grips with how anti-family they are with this strong, educated and empowered (aka I don't need a man to have a family) mentality (and intersectionality) they have embraced. The most educated ones are often the worst with this bullshyt.

Black men have one idea about family and many of our women have the opposite.
