I went to a pharmacy today in the DMV and saw one of those portable police cameras in front of it. I asked breh behind the counter were things getting crazy and he said yes. A group of young people are stealing and even robbed the pharmacy. I'm starting to wonder if this problem is secretly being allowed. Hear me out. 
I remember reports years ago of companies wanting to push for mass surveillance and people overwhelming said no. The tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist in me thinks the government will allow this to continue to the point people will gladly accept surveillance in the name of reducing crime and safety.
Does this sound crazy? Thoughts?
