Do you use people or hate asking for help?

I know two extremes. But which one describes you. I struggle (my pride) with asking people for help. For example, my sister moved 5 minutes near me. She has a washing machine and water is including in her rent. Now, I wouldn't have thought to ask her to use her washing machine. I don't want to be an inconvenience on people. Nor do I wanna be perceived as a user. I know you might say "Well, that's your sister." But even then I just don't really like to dependent on others like that unless I have to. I'd rather just go to the laundromat. Well, she ended up asking me and I put my pride to the side. But what about you? Do you struggle with asking for help?

Maybe, you're the other extreme. You like to use people. Take from people whatever you can get. And have no guilt about it.

Or maybe you're in the middle. So which one describes your personality.

I don't mind asking for help if I really need it. It doesn't hurt my pride. I hate users though, always have. But I'll drop a great gem for you, that you've probably heard before. People only use you when you let em.

I can spot a user a mile away. And from the jump, they know they can't use me, cause I won't let them. You gotta set that boundary straight away.

Why would you NOT ask for help if it made your life easier? I'll even ask someone for help if I dislike them and they KNOW I dislike them. The worst they can say is no

I've been friends with users before. And at the beginning of the friendship they tried it with me. See if I would allow it. But they were cool peoples, so after we got that 1st step out of the way, we became good friends.

it'll take me being really in a bind to ask for help, and even when I do...I'm very careful on asking certain people.

If you want people to respect you, don't ask for anything.

If somebody offers I thank them until they wish they hadn't.
