He was always best in a tag team where he could come in for the hot tag and do his power moves to pop the crowd. But overall he was a decent worker and if he had worked on his cardio more he probably could have been even better.
very true. He plays that role well. If they gave him a ricky morton type late in his career he would've been over like rover...maybe pillman could've been it.He was always best in a tag team where he could come in for the hot tag and do his power moves to pop the crowd.
I thought he was good worker at his best, a power guy that also had some technical skills, his drug/alcohol problems along with injuries slowed him down tho, but he was pretty damn good in his prime, IMO.
Also, no one has any love for the Bulldog/Owen match for the European title in '97? I thought that was a very good match.![]()
i think the general answer is 'he was good..then he fell off and only could be carried by a select few'.He could look good if he was with the right opponent.
His best matches were with Bret, Owen, and HBK (in that order). I can't remember him ever having a really good match that didn't involve one of those three.
Vader...I liked em at leastHe could look good if he was with the right opponent.
