We commonly view someone dressed in a suit as more successful than someone dressed in jeans and a t shirt.

Not that it's necessarily true but the perception exists.

Do you view fit people as more successful than a person carrying a few more pounds?

Is a 115 pound woman in a suit viewed as more successful than a 160 pound woman in a suit?

I think we can take that down a notch, Statutory Ape.

Being physically fit usually requires a high amount of dedication/discipline. Makes sense that someone with the amount of dedication/discipline to be physically fit (not just naturally skinny/lean) would have the same dedication/discipline to advance high on the career ladder. May not necessarily be true (doesn't account for intelligence/skill), but it's a logical extrapolation :ehh:

Honestly bosses and higher ups at most jobs I ever had were usually old and fat. So no. In fact a lot of the people I know that are in the best shape are average as fukk with their jobs.

Yea, this. When you realize the 99% thing is true, that most people are average or below, kind of look at it differently. I think it's necessary to be a complete male, but not to be successful.

This a young nikka question though. You have to get at a certain age before you see the mediocrity in most folks. :manny:

nope... i use to think people in suits and nice cars was more successful until i was doing a internship in college as a human resource recruiter and these people who would come to events and appear to be living the life would be actually broke as fukk or deep in debt by 100 plus thousand when u do their background checks

then i use to do also repo jobs also and the majority of the people who never paid bills was people living in beverly hills, hollywood and other rich parts of L.A...

after that i never judge a book by it's cover

to me, you gotta have all parts of your life in order to be successful. finance, relationships, your mentality, and health. dont have 1 and you can end up a wreck. 4 legs of a chair type ish

If you are over the age of 25 and fit (not skinny) then you are successful at avoiding the larry.
