You don’t like walking barefoot or in socks, folks are welcome to keep a personal pair of flip flops at my place.

I don’t personally, but not a big deal and don’t really make guests do it.


Most guests notice the shoe rack by the door though, so they usually take the hint


I wear slides inside though (outside slides too). Living in cookie cutter condos, you can hear a lot of stomps out here

Never did, but with a Japanese other half I literally could not partially step into any house without shoes off first.

Now I can walk to the kitchen, mostly to drop off shopping, as we got tiny kids and doing all of that before entering the house is difficult.

My wife is asian. Outdoor shoes dont make it beyond the shoe cubby at the front door.
