Do your friends / family know how much you make?

I got a boy who I feel like is trying to lowkey find out about how much I make.

He just told me he got approved for affordable housing in Orange County in Huntington Beach. His rent is $2,1000 and he was telling me he makes around 52K


When I told him I don’t qualify he was like
Oh word…

Y’all hiring… then was trying to find out The ins and outs of my position and trying to ask me to put him on. And I would have no problem with helping him out but he only comes around when he needs something.


Moms & pops and my sister know but that’s about it. Do y’all keep that information private as well?

Yeah it aint no secret. They ask and i answer. People then ask how i make so much without any degree and i tell em to join the military. They lose interest after that lol

So you won't put on your friend cause he's not paying you enough attention? I mean i get it that you might feel used but that's the least reason not to give someone a try to elevate themselves.

Nah it’s the fact that he only comes around when he needs something. I don’t give a fukk about attention. Just be a consistent friend and don’t try to use people….
