I got a frat brother who is one of my best friends. I was even a groomsman at his wedding and he used to rap and even had a local hit with his song “Lookin For A Bop” that was kinda big in Ohio. Dude used to wear grills and had the big H-Town belt buckles. The whole nine.

After dude got married (he’s 30) I swear he’s completely did a 180. Every chance he gets now it’s about “Jesus this and Jesus that.” :beli:
After I told him me and my girl might be expecting, he’s on some “Are you right with the Lord? Will your future child accept the Lord in its life?” I’m personally not religious (brought up Christian) but I am spiritual. I still pray, believe in God/Creator/Higher Power and being a good person but he really had me on some :what: stuff so I hung up on him because I don’t put 100% into any religion so miss me with that.

For the past 2 years every time he’s tried to call me it would say “Verizon cannot connect…etc.” when we both have Sprint so he usually just texts me to hit him up. This morning while I was on the way to work I was saying a random morning prayer when this dude called me outta nowhere :gladbron: and was like “I received a message for you to come back home. I’m not telling you this myself, something is speaking through me. It’s time for you” :wtf:

I’m a little weirded out. Any of you brehs ever had some spooky shyt happen like that or friends pushing religion on you?

The 3rd Degree
some cat from a church helped him get back on his feet.

This is why I don't have a problem with religion. Some of these churches are doing good things for the community.

Howevah...I just can't bring myself to believe the Bible literally.

But outside of corny/smug Facebook posts, nobody is trying to force it down my throat. :manny:

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Not so much religion itself...

Moreso along the lines of pyramid marketing, get rich quick, ponzi schemes.

That corporate religion, what have you. Shiits an epidemic in the streets n im thoroughly convinced that the reps/lemmings are severely brainwashed.

How u gon attempt to sell me on ur top secret covert meetings w/o giving me a single glimpse of the premise or objective? U seldom run into educated ppl who do that stuff. Its always the dumbest of the dumb they want to recruit. The less questions u ask, The easily intrigued u are and susceptible u is to relinquishing that 500 or so to join...the more they love u.

U prolly can make a living on that crap... But im not selling out my friends and family and burning more bridges than a railroad arsonist to do it.

I aint talmbout acura coupes when i say:

I gots more integra-ty than that.

Umph.

The Exact same nikka I'm talking about almost fell for the amway scam like a month ago.He met some cat at the gym who told he could have a beamer and a house in a year with amway sales and this cat was sold then he was tryna recruit tryna to sell me on amway.Sending me messages and asking me to come to the meeting that cost 250.00 to attend.I told him it was a pyramid scheme that targets dumb fukks and brainwashes them and showed him several websites with terrible reviews and he fell back
