I really wish he would've out more effort into controlling this.
Alot of individuals continue to eat what they want and rely on insulin or pills when sugar levels increase. It really a lifestyle change that is needed. I've known people whose relatives lost a limb and they still continue to eat pies, cookies, cakes,etc.
The good thing is that type II diabetes usually subsides or goes away completely with dramatic weight loss. However, even after the surgery, he needs to understand that he will be required to modify his eating habits.
Im wonder if he could get his sight back or is it gone for good
