Doctors/Scientist run politics: Good or bad to you?

The one thing that I see out of pandemic is doctors/scientist are basically the leaders of this country. My question is: Does that fact comfort you or are you suspicious? When I look at this Dr. Drew apologizing for thinking Covid not being a big deal, and people making decisions based on his opinion, I see the huge impact. As well as the CDC not making a big deal out of the masks until recently.

Now, I'm sure some of you will say well Trump is not listening to him. But I would say he'll probably be the exception to the rule compared to future presidents.

are you kidding me? the economy runs this country. all the decisions that have harmed us during this pandemic are business related. the serious medical doctors are ignored and only listened to after terrible milestones are hit

Bad. Even in an emergency situation. There are any number of factors in the best interest of the country that doctors simply don't concern themselves with. Plus nobody elected them.
