How, they also closed down businesses in the city and pushed them out the suburbs like Detroit?
To my knowledge St. Louis was a thriving city for blacks coming up from the south. Food, music, business etc were on par with Chicago and detroit but in a short period of time all that seemed to vanish. If u visit St. Louis today u can’t help but wonder why there’s so many bandos and unkempt infrastructure. Especially considering how much money the state of Missouri has.
